If you’re interested in citizen journalism and love a bit of footy then this one is definitely for you!
The World Film Collective has launched a brilliant new project to coincide with the 2010 FIFA World Cup. 48 South African participants have been trained as citizen journalists, and are currently using their new-found skills to produce content showing their perspectives on what the World Cup means to their local communities.
Nokia has sent out a load of Nokia N85 devices to help out – and we’re hoping to see some brilliant results. Some great stories have already started coming in – so check out the World Film Collective site here.
