Nokia C5 Reviews, Images and Video

C5 Nokia candybar design provides a simple and broad range of functions without being too expensive. No jaw-dropping, but should not disappoint anyone.
Nokia C5
Design:
Nokia to make is simply good candy bar phones and the Nokia C5 is a good example. The phone is a combination of plastic and aluminum is, it feels quite easy in his hands. Our test unit was in the white version with a gold band on the sides of the device. The Nokia C5 is in a warm shade of gray.

The production quality is generally solid, although somewhat intimidated by the battery cover matt silver, which was a bit loose on the ground. The implementation of the micro SD card slot and volume keys is also questionable. The micro SD card, once established, is too low in the slot so that a painful experience trying to remove the card with your fingernail. The volume buttons are thin, rigid, and sank into the housing. We had to print before the controls registered. Try to do now when the phone is near your ear.

Fortunately, the keyboard is a pleasure to use and 2.2-inch QVGA screen is suitable for a device this size. The TFT screen is 16.7 million colors, but the readability of the screen under the sun is an average. We had to squint a bit to frame your photos with the camera. Inside, the picture looks sharp and vivid. Elsewhere on the C5, there is a 3.5 mm audio jack, micro USB port connection and charge up to 2 mm, while a 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash is back.
Nokia C5
Characteristics:
The Nokia C5 is running on the Symbian S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 OS, virtually all other Nokia smartphones without touchscreen. Smart dialing commands, conference calling (up to three participants), the audio and video cards. The latter is the second camera, VGA front-employed. The latter has a zoom range from 20 cm to infinity and is also capable of recording video at 144x176 pixels at 15 frames per second.

The main screen is a link carousel your favorite contacts in the address book. Up to four people to appear in a certain time, even though the pages, the two contacts on the edge has been cut because of the limitation of the screen (see our display of figure). However, it is likely to be able to determine who these friends are, by their pictures. Clicking on any of these contacts to an aggregator, which recent history shows that certain person. Below this switch is designed for applications carousel appointments, e-mail and contacts designed Ovi States. Down in the bottom of the screen with six shortcuts that are configured to change the left / right. If you use a recent Nokia smartphones, none of them should be new to you.

Most applications that the average user should be pre-installed. It Quickoffice to view the document (although you need for the paid version to register, create new documents), Adobe PDF reader, dictionary, Zip manager, notepad, real player, voice recorder and Ovi Maps Navigation. Operating in real time and the navigation unit is free in the nokia C5. Maps on Ovi, you will also find a guide Lonely Planet and events, and a request to update the time. The C5 comes with 128 MB onboard memory, with about 50 MB.

In addition to contacts, maps, Ovi, the nokia C5 also supports application downloading via Ovi on the product and Files on Ovi. One thing that I have reviewed the lack of applications and user complained to the terrible Ovi. What chance is there is a robust set of applications from a third party for S60. The only problem is that it may find to be able to Ovi, and instead the Internet for the search.

Files on Ovi allows you to view, download and upload files (what did you expect?) Placed on your computer by phone, what is a life saver if you need access to a document on your PC apart. You must install the program files on the PC connection and use the second must be online to this service. 2GB microSD card that came with the Nokia C5, the installation file for the program Ovi Suite, you need not be downloaded separately.

Because of his accent, that I recommend you do not get too close to his goal only if they really in a position to estimate the distance of 25 cm is from the camera to focus. Closely, and you end up with an image blurred.

The Nokia C5 has a basic camera that allows you to snapshots and movies 2048x1536 VGA at 15 frames per second. The montage of images in the widescreen format was not conducted very well in our tests, you can see the seams of each image clearly. Our videos also saw the low frame rate for video capture worried. The LED flash has a range of about 1.5 million.
Nokia C5
Performance:
Call quality was good and found no problems during our review period of one week. The speakers are not too clear, but if you in a very noisy environment that may still have the other line for a 3G video call can be heard. The video image is not broken during the conversation as they moved.

The Nokia  C5 is driven by an ARM11 processor with 600 MHz with 128 MB RAM. In general, the headset quickly and the delay time when a fraction of a second meter barely registered in our discomfort. The only exception is if they decided to gallery. Images and videos of the navigation screen automatically rotates to landscape mode, which had a delay of two seconds.

This is a smartphone that does basic tasks more efficiently. 1050mAh battery has a capacity of 12 hours of talk time and about 26 days of standby. Thanks to our Microsoft Exchange mail in the general direction, the occasional surfing the Internet, download applications and updates to Twitter and Facebook, the battery lasts 2.5 days comfortable.
Nokia C5
Conclusion:
The Nokia C5 not excite, but it will not disappoint. If you are looking for a basic phone with features such as text, the C5 is worth considering. It has appointed a mid-range device, compact and affordable that offers most of the time.
